Fireproof is the part of ITRI Innovation which focuses on all aspects of fire-retardant development, characterisation, benchmarking and evaluation. We offer a unique laboratory service combining fire testing with an ability to process your polymers.

Over a 20-year period, this activity has evolved from looking solely at tin-containing flame retardants and smoke suppressants, to a more general involvement in fire science. We are equipped with a comprehensive range of small-scale fire tests, each complying with national and international standard test methods that are ideally suited to R & D and quality control programmes.
